Please see the following public notice and comment period information for the Title I Part A request for waiver.
The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) has applied for a waiver under the ESEA for multiple award periods. This application document serves as the basis for the basis of the waiver application as well as the operation and administration of activities to carry out the requirements of Title I Part A by the waiver. As part of the public participation process outlined in the ESEA Title I Part A regulations at 34 CFR § 300.165 and in Section 427 of the General Education Provisions Act (GEPA) (20 U.S.C. 1228a), the State must publish its Federal Waiver Request for Title I Part A and allow public comment.
Please review the letters below and the methods to submit the waiver.
- Title I Part A stakeholders may submit comments in writing beginning August 13, 2024 using the following methods:
- Submit electronically via the ADE/ESEA Public Comment webpage
- Submit electronically to Academic Achievement via email
- Submit handwritten comments directly to Academic Achievement via the USPS to Arizona Department of Education, 1535 West Jefferson St. Bin #32, Phoenix, AZ 85007
