- What's New in Title IV-A?
December 2, 2019
Dear Arizona Educators, Administrators, Educational Leadership, & Community Partners,
It is my greatest privilege to announce the newly formed Office of Digital Literacy in the Arizona Department of Education. The mission of the Office of Digital Literacy is to provide leadership, service, and support to educators and administrators to ensure that Arizona's students become informed citizens and develop digital literacy skills critical for success in college and careers.
The newly launched Office of Digital Literacy website will be continuously updated to provide resources and information on state and national organizations, digital literacy, digital citizenship, coding, programming, computer science, and more. It is my greatest hope that the Office of Digital Literacy website will become a resource for educators as they work to teach digital literacy skills and integrate technology into their classrooms and schools.
It is my honor to serve as the Title IV-A Digital Learning Specialist and work alongside educators to teach our students the critical digital literacy skills needed to become informed citizens and thrive in college and careers. My goal is to provide you with the tools and resources you need to become a 21st century educator.
Yours in collaboration,
Erin Henderson, MST
