PD INFO: Thursday Afternoon LEarning Series (TALES) - I Want SMORE of that!, May 21

Please join us for our next episode of the Thursday Afternoon LEarning Series, or TALES,  on Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., when we welcome special guest lecturer Amy Hill, CCC-SLP, to present “I Want SMORE of That! A Free Tool for SLPs, Teachers, and Other Related Service Providers during COVID-19 and Beyond.”

This session will support speech-language pathologists, special education teachers, and other related service providers in learning to learn how to use SMORE, a free, easy newsletter/communication tool to develop and deliver speech therapy and alternative learning activities via telepractice. This tool can be used after COVID-19, during extended school year, and throughout the new school year to develop thematic lesson plans, as a service extender for SLPAs and paraprofessionals, and for monthly or quarterly newsletters to parents and general education teachers. The newsletter link can easily be shared with parents, teachers, and in Google classrooms.
