McNeal Elementary District

The amount of monies allocated for academic interventions exceeds the 20% set-aside. Monies will be used to do the following interventions. The district will be:
1. Purchasing Edgenuity a supplemental grade recovery computer program.
2. Contracting services from St. David consortium to provide: weekly counseling for students in SEL PD, class and individual student activities to enhance current SEL interventions.
3. Providing guided, focused tutoring after school for students who are behind academically.
4. Providing academic gap closing summer school instruction for students who are behind academically.
5. Providing transportation home for students who are in after school tutoring and transportation to /from home for summer school activities.
6. Providing meals for students attending summer school.
7. Providing necessary school supplies and instructor supplies for both after-school tutoring and summer school.
8. Students will be assessed to indicate if after school instruction and summer learning activities have increased academic proficiency. Students will be assessed prior to beginning activities to address learning loss, assessment will be on-going, being given every 4 weeks to determine efficiency of learning loss activities which will enable us to adjust acordingly.
