What makes an official transcript official?
- Paper copy on security paper from the institution, is designated as official, and all security features are present.
- Electronic transcripts sent directly from the institution or clearinghouse to the Arizona Department of Education ([email protected]), is designated official and all security features are present.
What must be sent directly from an institution? (to [email protected])
- Electronic official transcripts (from the institution or clearinghouse are accepted).
- Verification of Teaching Experience forms.
What can be scanned and submitted by the applicant to AzEDCert?
- Official exam score reports that denote "Pass" or "Passed."
- Letters from employers or institutions on official letterhead and signed that may demonstrate training or clarify coursework.
- Course descriptions/catalog pages if needed/requested.
- Copy of IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Institutional Recommendation.
What can be submitted by mail from the applicant?
- Applications for services / Institutional Recommendation.
- Copy of IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Official transcripts on security paper from the institution which is designated as official and all security features are present.
- Official exam score reports that denote "Pass" or "Passed".
- Letters from employers or institutions on official letterhead and signed that may demonstrate training or clarify coursework.
