Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Announces the Completion of Achievement Tutoring Program (ATP)
Dear Parents and Students,
Session Eight, just concluded, marks the successful completion of the Achievement Tutoring Program (ATP).
On behalf of the Arizona Department of Education (ADE), we extend our heartfelt thanks to you for your participation in ATP. The program's impact is evident, with pre-and post-session data showing that over 20% of students made half a year or more of progress.
Starting with a pilot session in November of last year, ATP has completed a total of eight sessions, with the final session enrolling nearly seven thousand students. The program was designed to continue until all allocated funds were utilized, and we have now reached that point. Therefore, Session Eight will be the last session of the Achievement Tutoring Program.
In keeping with our mission as a “service organization committed to improving student outcomes and empowering parents,” ADE is continually developing new ways to meet student needs. One exciting new initiative is our partnership with Khan Academy to provide Khanmigo, a Socratic AI tutor, along with all of Khan Academy’s other offerings to participating school districts. Thank you to all parents and students for being the most vital part of our success!
With warm regards,
