Outstanding Educators Group
Arizona Department of Education's Outstanding Educators Group Call for Recommendations
The Arizona Department of Education invites school leaders – Superintendents, LEA District Office Leaders and Principals – to recommend exceptional educators for inclusion in ADE’s
Outstanding Educators Group. We encourage school leaders to submit the name of an Arizona K-12 educator who demonstrates exceptional instructional and leadership ability.
Recommended educators should:
- Exhibit strong potential for professional leadership and an inspiring presence that impacts students, colleagues, and their community.
- Have a minimum of five years in education.
- Be recognized by peers and supervisors as unique in their leadership.
- Have had positive and measurable student achievement results.
- Have not had previous recognition.
If selected to be a part of the Outstanding Educators Group, educators will be called on at various times to share their experiences and perspectives to help inform the work of the Arizona Department of Education, be recommended for various work teams, task forces, committees, etc. Honoring the work of outstanding teachers, specialists, and administrators promotes the profession and highlights the impact educators have on student achievement, their colleagues, and the community.
