Professional Development
Professional Development is necessary for capacity building to support the implementation of effective high quality programs.
21st CCLC Sub-Grantee Professional Development Annual Requirement:
Site leadership (District director(s), Principal(s), and Site Coordinator(s)) will attend at least one 21st CCLC sponsored/recommended Professional Development event annually and will provide relevant professional development related to academic achievement which will be integrated within the school-based training for all 21st CCLC staff to assure continuous improvement. Documentation of attendance will be submitted in the annual Evaluation Report for each level of leadership.

Note: To satisfy the 21st CCLC Professional Development annual requirement, if an effective PD learning opportunity is not on the list above; submission of an alternative PD plan must be submitted and approved by the assigned Education Program Specialist prior to attending.
All professional learning must be relevant to OST and integrated into 21st CCLC program staff’s training.
Documentation of attendance will be submitted in the annual Evaluation Report for each level of leadership.
