As the education budget signed by Governor Hobbs does not include future funding for the Kindergarten Entry Assessment (KEA) or any other public school entry assessment, it will no longer be required of schools. Districts and schools wishing to continue utilizing an entry assessment will be free to use the existing options but are not compelled to do so.
