CAVIT will use ESSER III funding to provide to interventions to staff and students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Ten teachers will be hired to provide summer programming using the Career Academies evidence-based intervention program. This summer program will serve at-risk students that include economic disadvantaged, academic disadvantaged, special populations (IEP/504), and SEL students who need to make up industry certification hours, master CTE technical skills, complete work-based learning internships, and prepare for industry licensure examinations.
