Exceptional Student Services (ESS) Special Projects is a best practice unit that provides training, education, and resources for professionals serving students with disabilities across the state of Arizona. As part of IDEA's general supervision framework, Special Projects provides professional learning and technical assistance to facilitate the building of capacity for educators, parents, and community members and ultimately services to students with disabilities.

Secondary Transition serves as a bridge from school to adult life, aiming to improve postsecondary success for youths and young adults with disabilities through Best Practice and specific indicators (1, 2, 13, and 14 - Post School Outcomes).
