The State Tutoring Program is designed to provide academic tutoring in reading, writing, and mathematics in order to improve student academic performance.

Students listed below are eligible for tutoring with their own districts/charters if those entities have approved grant applications or are eligible for tutoring with one of the approved tutoring providers listed below. To register for tutoring, eligible students must contact their school offices or one of the providers.

Eligibility and Tutoring Dates for High School Students

• FALL 08: Juniors and seniors who had not passed AIMS in order to graduate 8/11/08- 11/21/08
• SPRING 09: Freshmen and sophomores who did not pass 8th grade AIMS, juniors and seniors who have yet to pass high school AIMS in order to graduate 01/05/09- 04/13/09

Eligibility and Tutoring Dates for students attending Underperforming or Failing Schools

• FALL 08: Students attending Underperforming / Failing schools per 07-08 AZ LEARNS label
  10/8/08 (or whenever the profiles are announced if after that date) - 11/21/08
• SPRING 09: 01/05/09- 04/13/09

The summer 2009 round will be decided in the future depending on available funds.
