21st Century Community Learning Centers
21st CCLC Unit Mission
To assist 21st Century Community Learning Centers in building and sustaining comprehensive out of school time programs that provide high-quality academic enrichment opportunities for all children, and that offer literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
21st Century Community Learning Centers |
The purpose of the program is to establish 21st Century Community Learning Centers that provide at-risk students with opportunities for standards based academic enrichment, personal enrichment, and other activities designed to complement the students' regular academic program. The 21st CCLC programs also engage adult family members of actively participating students through educational and personal development opportunities.
