We have 2 locations to assist applicants with educator certification.
Location 1:
At this location, we have two certification windows to assist applicants.
100 N 15th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85007.
Our windows are open: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 4 PM to allow time for advisement and processing.
We will be happy to advise applicants with certification questions and processing services for existing certificates. All applications for new certificates, endorsements, and/or approved areas will be placed in the queue and processed in the order they are received. Location 2:
The Tucson location is open Thursdays from 12:30 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. and Fridays 8:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.

- The Certification Unit at the Arizona Department of Education provides services to educators to assist them in obtaining and maintaining their Arizona Educator Certification. Educators are certified in myriad areas, including Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, CTE, STEM, Arts, Physical Education, Administration, Special Education, Adult Education, and others, and adding approved content areas and endorsements. The unit also assists out-of-state educators in obtaining Arizona Certification. It supports human resource departments through staff training and facilitates on-site certification events to meet the needs of their educators.
